Episode 480 – Let’s Talk Dumb

Let’s talk about the dumb stuff that probably didn’t make it into the mainstream news.

Let’s start with this. Why not start a day of stupid stories with the mumbling of a stupid man:

There’s a cold snap back east. Sothern Florida released a warning today. Not of the cold or frost or snow. But of falling iguanas. That’s right, lizards are falling

It is going to reach a temperature of 40 degrees. Iguanas are cold-blooded so their body temperature lowers with the weather and slows their metabolism. When it gets too cold, they fall asleep or hibernate. Since iguanas live in trees, gravity takes over when the fall asleep and they fall on people. Not only do they fall on people, they are really pissed off when they wake up.

I have no commentary about this. It’s not even surprising the way the world is now.

 

Could He Kiss More Ass?

According to the Daily Wire:

“The first rule of fight club is you don’t talk about fight club.” But apparently, the first rule in communist China is that the cops always win. 

At least that’s the message being sent in the edited version of the cult classic 1999 film “Fight Club” starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. Viewers began noticing the change on the edited version posted to China’s streaming platform Tencent Video, NBC News reported. In the original version, “Fight Club” ends with massive explosions to solidify the overall anarchistic narrative. 

However, the censored version available in China cuts off before the bombs go off because police have ruined Norton’s plan. Instead, the screen fades to black and includes the text, “The police rapidly figured out the whole plan and arrested all criminals, successfully preventing the bomb from exploding.” 

It is hysterical. The text just comes out of nowhere, completely cutting off the end of the movie. That’s because the Chinese authorities do not tolerate crime and can never be fooled. Apparently, Edward Norton was put in an insane asylum and grew to appreciate the government.

Now, we know China does this and Hollywood is OK with it. But do they really need to kiss China’s ass about censoring the ending? Apparently so.

The author of the book, Chuck Palahniuk, tweeted:

“Have You Seen This Sh**? This is SUPER wonderful! Everyone gets a happy ending in China!”

He then commented on how the United States has banned his book within several institutions so China changing the ending is no big deal. That’s right, the United States is worse than China. Then he named who banned his book: the Texas prison systems and a bunch of private schools.

You can’t make this crap up. Looking at the movie or book, does it sound like it should be reading for prisoners and children?

The Hollywood Reporter also commented positively on the change:

“The irony is that the way the Chinese have changed it is they’ve aligned the ending almost exactly with the ending of the book, as opposed to Fincher’s ending, which was the more spectacular visual ending. So in a way, the Chinese brought the movie back to the book a little bit.”

I know everyone wants to make money and China is a huge market, but come on. Censorship is bad, no matter who does it. Yeah, prisoners are going to have to get out of jail to read it in Texas and kids need to grow up before they read it. But this does not make the United States as bad as China.

Best Job For a Woman…

Amy Schneider, who had a 40-game winning streak on Jeopardy finally lost. She racked up $1,382,800 and became the winningest woman in Jeopardy history. I think she ended up as the third biggest winner ever.

There’s just one problem. Amy is a biological man. This is just further evidence that the best woman in competition are men. Look at this guy at the University of Pennsylvania who, after 20 years, decided to be a woman and is now kicking the crap out of all the women while smashing all the women’s records in swimming. Or the two boys in a Connecticut high school that broke all the girls records in the 100 and 200 meters. Or the MMA fighter, Fallon Fox, who fought a woman in the ring and broke her skull.

Tell you what, I did not think it was going to be so easy to bring back the patriarchy.

What Do You Expect for $2000

According to the Daily Wire:

This week, Barbara Ferrer, the Los Angeles County Public Health Director, announced that all attendees for Super Bowl LVI, to be held at SoFi stadium, will be given KN95 masks and must wear masks unless they are eating or drinking.

Ferrer also noted that fans will be consistently reminded to wear their masks.

“Fans heading to the NFL Experience at the LA Convention Center, the NFL’s ‘interactive football theme park’ launching the week ahead of the February 13 Super Bowl, will receive free take-home test kits ‘with messaging to test before the big game,’ said Ferrer,” CNN reported, adding, “She said the NFL anticipates distributing over 60,000 test kits. The county will set up vaccination sites at the NFL Experience and anyone receiving first, second, or a booster dose of vaccine will be given free entry to the event.”

You know, for $2000 a ticket, you’d think you’d get a free beer or nachos or something. Not free COVID tests and KN95 masks (which really suck, by the way).

That’s another thing, have you ever seen Barbara Ferrer? She looks like Beetlejuice with the body of Jack Skellington. That’s the L.A. County Health Director. To trust a broad who looks like she died seven years ago on health advice is insane.

I have always thought one had to be nuts to pay that much money for a seat at the Super Bowl. The views are better on television, the food is better at home, the booze is cheaper at home and you can turn to the Puppy Bowl during the half time show. If you can afford $2000 a ticket, you can afford a 90″ television and a case of Bud. You’ll have a far better time.

Guess Who They Picked

Need more proof that pot and booze can make you stupid? Let’s talk about Neil Young.

Young, whose last hit was about 300 years ago, didn’t like what Joe Rogan was saying about the China virus. And that’s not a shock, he’s a rich man from Canada so he probably doesn’t have to follow any of the draconian rules Canada has imposed.

So Young released an open letter to his management team and record label, saying:

“Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.

“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform. They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young. Not both.”

This is a risky move for Young. It was reported that 65% of his streaming income came from Spotify. That’s high. For him, not for Spotify. They pain Joe Rogan about $100 million and he has 11 million subscribers, by far the most on Spotify. Joe Rogan’s podcast has more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined. As Joe Biden would say, not hyperbole.

Needless to say, Young sobered up and pulled his open letter but not before Spotify responded:

“Spotify Technology SA is in the process of removing Neil Young’s music, according to people familiar with the matter, as the folk-rock star isn’t wavering in his objections to Joe Rogan’s podcast.”

Don’t panic, all you 55-year-old folk music fans. He’ll be back on. But I love this.

When the rubber hits the road, even Leftist organizations will piss on other Leftists to keep the money coming in. And where is the money coming from now? Conservatives or very moderate liberals (as Joe Rogan is). Who is the top cable news outlet? Fox News. Who has the highest rated podcast? Joe Rogan. Who has the highest rated late night comedy show? Greg Gutfeld on Fox News. Yeah, he’s beating out Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel. In the last election, who had the highest overall ratings? Louder with Crowder from Blaze TV.

You know why this is happening? Conservative media is fun, interesting, risky and informative. This is a start how conservatism takes back the culture.

Walt Is Turning Over in his Grave

Disney is facing problems.

Peter Dinklage, who played the dwarf, Tyrion Lannister, on Game of Thrones, is pissed. Notice how I called him a dwarf? That’s because he played a dwarf on the show. He was referred to as a dwarf.

So what is he pissed about? Disney is releasing a modern day Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. He said:

“Literally no offense to anyone, but I was a little taken aback when they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White — but you’re still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. It makes no sense to me. You’re progressive in one way, but then you’re still making that f***ing backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together? What the f*** are you doing, man? Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I’m not loud enough.”

Maybe he needs two soapboxes to be heard.

A few things here:

  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was written by the Brother Grimm in 1812. It’s a story. Making it woke will change the story and it will no longer be Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
  • Peter Dinklage made millions not because he is a great actor, which he is, but because he’s a dwarf who can act!
  • Being a dwarf isn’t really a disability. They are typically just short.

By the way, you aren’t allowed to say dwarf or midget anymore, which is weird. They are actually descriptors. Dwarves have adult size appendages but short stature. A midget is one short of stature but their body parts are proportional. You know where I learned that? In high school while reading the Brothers Grimm version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Anyway, Disney had a response to this. They said:

“To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community. We look forward to sharing more as the film heads into production after a lengthy development period.”

I love when the woke beats on the woke. Don’t forget Disney put warning tags on Peter Pan, Dumbo, The Aristocrats, The Jungle Book and The Swiss Family Robinson.

So, congratulations to Peter Dinklage for making sure that other little people can’t get jobs after he made millions of dollars simply because he’s a little person.

Well, Duh!

You know the typical description of the comic book reader and collector? It is a straight man, 25-40 years old, usually a little overweight because of all the Hot Pockets he eats. They are usually bitter because they can’t get a date so they settle with a little D&D on a Saturday night with the other dateless comic book collectors.

You know what these guys don’t read? Comics about a gay Superman who’s is fighting climate change.

That’s what DC Comics is finding.

They released a comic about the bi-sexual son of Superman who gets in a relationship with some Asian guy while he is fighting climate change. I’m not kidding. I’m sure you heard me talk about this last summer.

Guess what? No one bought it. The comic hasn’t cracked the top 50 in units sold of comic books since it was released in November. Many comic “experts” are saying this might be the end of Superman. DCs top comics are all Batman and people might have a hard time embracing a character that takes it in the butt.

Wokeness may have killed what only kryptonite could kill.

Why Would She Do This?

You can’t make this shit up.

It was reported in the news last week that a truck with a bunch of lab monkeys crashed on a freeway in Montour County, Pennsylvania. Three monkeys dies. I would say this is a tragedy but I have a feeling the fate of these monkeys was pretty much sealed.

The story is there was this woman who wanted to help out. Michele Fallon decided to get out of her car and walk up to the truck. She saw the boxes on the truck. The boxes had holes, because the monkeys needed to breathe, and she saw fur. So she thought they were cats.

Fallon said:

“So I go over to check the cats out, and I’m sticking my finger in because I see the fur. Then I hear this weird grunting noise and it pops up, and I’m getting really close to it and I hear a monkey doing a hissing noise. I backed away and I told the guy that they were not cats, they were monkeys.”

Now, Fallon has reported and is being treated for some illness she might have received from the monkeys. According to Newsweek:

Fallon became concerned because she has a cut on her hand and began experiencing pink eye symptoms, so she went to the emergency room at a local hospital, she told local news station WBRE-TV. She is now taking preventative medicine for about two weeks and received her first dose of the rabies vaccine.

There are two takeaways here:

  • Is it surprising that a world pandemic started? These guys are transporting diseased monkeys in wood crates in a 1985 Mack truck. Maybe I’m off here, but I think, after the last two years of pandemic, maybe there should be a little more regulation on transporting diseased monkeys.
  • If you want to help with an accident that is carrying a truckload of animals in sealed crates, don’t stick your finger in the crate, even if it is a cat. They probably have those cats in crates with only air holes for a reason. I mean, if these were good cats, they’d probably be in the cab with the driver. Or better yet, the doctor doing the experiments himself would probably drive the cat in his Ford Focus.

OK, you might think this is a cringe-worthy event because the uncle is going to tell the rest of the family that the daughter has got her cooch on camera for strange men to see but no. That’s not it.

Episode 474 – You’ve Got to be Kidding Me

I haven’t talked about some of the minor news in a while. Doing this podcast four days a week instead of five days a week will force me to miss some things.

But there are some very small stories that have some big consequences to Western Civilization.

Let’s talk about them.

 

This Will Be Ignored

Joe Biden can’t beat the forecasts when it comes to unemployment but he beats the crap out of the forecasts out of one thing: inflation.

Inflation has gone up 7% in December. That is the worst rate since June of 1982 when it was up 7.1%. This is a half percent jump from November. This measures all sorts of products such as cars, food, energy and other goods.

Here is the breakdown:

  • Energy went down, 0.4%. That sounds great but let’s remember that:
    • Gas is up 49%.
    • Natural gas is up 24%.
    • Electricity is up 6.3%.
  • Food prices rose 0.5% to 6.4%.
    • beef and veal (18.6%)
    • pork (15.1%)
    • chicken (10.4%)
    • ham (10%)
    • fish (8.4%)
  • cereals and cereal products, which increased 0.8%
  • bakery products has soared 6.8%.
  • Pre-owned car prices, a key component of the months long inflation surge, increased again last month, jumping 3.5% from the previous month and 37.3% year-over-year.
  • Rental cars, meanwhile, shot up a stunning 36% from last December, although they actually declined 4.4% in December compared to November.
  • The cost of new cars, meanwhile, rose 1.3% in December from the previous month and 11.8% from the prior year.
  • Rent costs swelled 0.4% in December and 4.2% over the past 12 months.
  • prices for furniture (17.3%)
  • laundry equipment (12.1%)
  • clothing (5.8%)
  • tools and other outdoor equipment (7.2%)

So, there you have it. Wondering why your raise is gone? It’s because you have to eat dinner tonight and drive to the store to get it.

This is the Symptom of Weakness

According to the Daily Wire:

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Deputy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Ali Fadavi said during a recent interview that when the time is right, the Islamic Republic of Iran is planning to strike the United States, which comes amid increasing threats from Iran toward the U.S.

Fadavi was recorded saying:

“They did very quickly what we asked them to do. This is the status of the Americans, this is the status of the enemies of Allah, and this is the status of those who stand with the Axis of Falsehood. We do not have the slightest doubt that at the right time, when we strike America – the Great Satan – and its Zionist followers, we will strike them with great force.”

He later stated:

“If the Zionists do something stupid and take a step against us, whether big or small, we will see this as a sign that Allah decreed that we should be attacked so that we could retaliate. This would mean the annihilation of the Zionists. It is a fact that the Zionists will go away much faster than the time frame determined by the Leader. Soon we will witness the annihilation of the Americans and their dominance over the world, and specifically over this region. Soon we will see them leave the region. This will definitely happen.”

This is not the first time this has been said. The Iranians are pissed off about the death of Qasem Soleimani, Iran’s terrorist general by Donald Trump. They want the Biden administration to arrest and convict everyone who had to do with the death of Soleimani, including Donald Trump.

Now, mind you, Soleimani was killed in Iraq during a terrorist uprising he allegedly organized.

Now, do I think anything is going to come of this? Do I think Biden is going to throw Trump in jail? No, I doubt it but I wouldn’t put it past him. But I do think we are witnessing a terrorist warning. It also shows how emboldened Iran has gotten because of Joe Biden’s weakness and Biden’s weird need to get back into the nuclear agreement with Iran even though Iran probably already has a nuclear weapon.

Between Afghanistan and Iran, I think we should prepare for a terrorist attack in 2022.

Speaking of Afghanistan

I order to keep up the memory of Afghanistan and how f-ed up they are because of Joe Biden’s retreat from the country. The retreat that killed 13 servicemen and a few hundred Afghanis.

The Taliban is having an issue with women protesting the the fact that the Taliban is taking away all the rights of women, raping them, forcing them into marriages, beating them and executing them on the streets because they won’t wear their burkas. All the rights that they had when the 2000 troops were allowed to be there.

To quell these protests, the Taliban has decided it would be a good idea to chop off the heads of mannequins that are found in stores in mock executions.

China Virus Insanity

It’s Not Child Abuse Anymore

According to CNN:

A Texas mother has been charged with endangering a child after she allegedly placed her 13-year-old son, who had Covid-19, into her car’s trunk to avoid being exposed to the virus, according to a warrant from the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

Sarah Beam, 41, was charged after authorities arrived at a Houston-area Covid testing site on January 3 following a report that a health services official had found the child in trunk of Beam’s car. According to the warrant, the director of health services stated she was gathering information from cars in a line for Covid testing when “she found a female driver, later identified as Sarah Beam, having her child in the trunk of her car.”
The health director told police “the defendant confirmed that her son, K.H., who is a 13-year-old child, was in the trunk of the car due (to) the child having been tested positive for Covid.”

This woman is a school teacher.

Apparently, she was driving to a testing site, got out of the car, opened the trunk and let her son out so he could get tested.

I don’t know what’s worse about this story:

  • That we have people in this country so paranoid that they’ll abuse their kids.
  • That there are narcissists out there that have kids.
  • That narcissists like this are actually teachers.

I know what is the worst take-away from this story. It is that this virus has given us an excuse to systemically abuse our children.

I bet you that, not only is this broad out of jail and tweeting social justice messages and selfies on Tik Tok, but her son has been put back in that home, preparing his own mac-and-cheese in between bouts of downloading porn off the Internet because he is unsupervised.

Our children are not allowed to go to school. They are not allowed to participate in activities. They cannot see faces because they are forced to wear masks all the time. They are forced to eat outside and socially distance during lunch times.

All this is OK according to the government. What the hell so kids need socialization for anyway?

Increased suicide rates, increased drug use, lower test scores, lower literacy over the last year. These are all just coincidences.

Let’s understand something, wokeness is a form of narcissism. If you need proof, watch a couple of Tik Tok videos where the nut jobs talk about their pronouns or teachers who talk about their sexual preferences with their students. This is pure narcissism. The reason it has become so ingrained in our society is that businesses have gone woke and support the woke narcissism of some of their employees. Heck, I’ll go so far as a vast minority of their employees.

I also laugh at the fact that the reason businesses and the population should support the woke narcissists are because the narcissist has rights. There’s a huge problem with this argument. It is not a right when your right is impeding on the rights of another. This guy has the right (and scientific reason) not to have to wear a mask. What about his rights?

When I first read this, I thought this guy needs to quit and find another job. No. This guy needs to refuse to wear a mask in front of his computer screen and force this person to quit or for the company to get rid of this dumbass. I guarantee that this broad who is so scared of no one wearing masks that she’s a crappy employee that just bitches a lot.

Typical Bureaucracy

Need proof that government and bureaucracy suck at everything?

The Boston Marathon Bomber, who is serving life in prison at Super Max in Florence, Colorado, received a $1400 stimulus check from the government during the pandemic.

He also received $250 from the Office of Federal Defenders of New York. All this is tax payer money.

Of course, it was taken away but it just shows how messed up our government is.

My question is: How many criminals received a stimulus check without anyone discovering it?

Only 74%?

According to Newsmax:

Nearly 3 in 4 American adults believe there only are two genders, a new Rasmussen Reports survey found.

The Rasmussen poll found that 63% strongly agreed when asked, “Do you agree or disagree with this statement: There are two genders, male and female?” Another 18% disagreed.

Although majorities in every political category agreed that there are only two genders, Democrats (47%) were less likely than Republicans (82%) or the unaffiliated (60%) to say they strongly agreed, Rasmussen found.

Americans with incomes of $200,000 a year or more were most likely to disagree with the statement that there are only two genders.

Couple of things:

  • Is this the end of Western Civilization where more than 25% of the American population does not believe that men and women are different?
  • This also shows that being highly educated and earning a lot of money doesn’t make you smart.

Crime Pays

Apparently, crime today does pay. And when something pays, you have to pay taxes on that income.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has released a new stipulation for the 2021 tax season. From the IRS website:

  • Do you get the impression the federal government doesn’t take crime seriously?
  • Do you think the federal government sees crime as a job and a source of income?
  • Do you think that the government is so dumb as to believe they will get taxes from criminals?
  • Do you think high crime rates is an accident?
  • You know what I think. I’ve said it about a dozen times.

Here’s the thing:

  • High crime in blue cities and states is not because of bad policy. High crime is the policy.
  • High inflation is not because of bad policy. High inflation is the policy.
  • A stagnant economy is not because of bad policy. A stagnant economy is the policy.
  • Energy and gas shortages are not because of bad policy. Energy and gas shortages are the policy.
  • All this crap comes from the AOC’s Green New Deal.

Episode 460 – She Did What Now?

The last three podcasts have dealt with the case that could overturn Roe vs. Wade and Planned Parenthood vs. Casey. I have been tunnel-visioned. I have neglected all of the other news out there. I cannot miss the other important news that has been occurring in the world simply for a huge social issue that is important to me.

Let me bring you back up to date!

 

Personal News

So this there was some great news and some bad news from this weekend:

The good news:

  • I finished two chapters of my book. Both written and typing.
  • I found an artist to help me with my cover art and some of the pictures in my book. OK, it’s not a real artist. It’s my dad who took up painting when he retired.
  • I finished my Christmas shopping. All online. Josie wanted to go to a mall and she did. But she didn’t make me go. That was great news.
  • I gave her some money. She went to the mall but it was terribly crowded and she found nothing. She came back horribly frustrated and gave me back my money. That’s great news. Not that the malls were terribly crowded (which I thought was funny) or that she was horribly frustrated (Though I told you so, comes to mind) but that she gave me my money back.

Now comes the bad news:

  • When one successfully finishes their Christmas shopping online, the crap is eventually delivered. Yeah, that did happen.
  • Josie took all the 6 ounce presents to store in her 3300 square foot apartment but she made me keep the slide and climbing structure that is the size of one of the small pyramids in Egypt. Needless to say, I don’t have room for it in the shoebox that I live in.
  • I’m keeping it on my patio.
  • The problem I have is that it’s going to rain over the next two days. If a drop hits the box of Josie’s grandkids Christmas present, I am screwed.
  • What’s worse, I’m going to have to put this f-ing thing together.
  • I’m just kidding. I’m not putting the thing together. That’s her problem.

I Can Believe It

According to the New York Post:

The unidentified female flew from Syracuse, NY, to Atlanta, GA, where she was caught breastfeeding her feline on the plane. A flight attendant told her repeatedly to stop and put her cat back in its cage, however, the woman refused.

I don’t even know what to say about this. Even with the world as it is, this is weird.

The story continues:

A message was sent through the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to alert Delta crew in Atlanta that a passenger in seat 13A “is breastfeeding a cat and will not put cat back in its carrier when [flight attendant] requested.”

There are some things the flight crew could have done to use a technicality to have this gal put the cat back in its carrier. Ask her if the cat is masked.

By the way, this brings up another question. When the vax mandate hits, it the can going to need to be fully vaxxed? With the booster?

Flight attendant Ainsley Elizabeth, who was on board during the incident, took to TikTok on Nov. 13 to explain more of what went down, Newsweek reported.

“This woman had one of those, like, hairless cats swaddled up in a blanket so it looked like a baby,” she said. “Her shirt was up and she was trying to get the cat to latch and she wouldn’t put the cat back in the carrier. And the cat was screaming for its life.”

Not surprised. I do the same thing at the airport when my beer is watered down.

By the way, I would assume because this was one of those wussy cats because it doesn’t have any hair. I’m sure that not having any hair as a cat is a COVID co-morbidity or a pre-existing condition. It should have been wearing a mask and be vaccinated. I don’t need to get the China virus from this cat.

Europe has gone insane, or tyrannical when it comes to this stupid pandemic that kills less than 1% of their population.

Germany has decided to lockdown and separate the unvaccinated from the vaccinated. Sound familiar from Germany? They have grocery stores that have fencing. separating the vaxxed from the unvaxxed. I saw the pictures. First off I thought that fences and walls doesn’t work. Second, they were fences. Do they really think that a fences is going to stop a virus?

Anyway, Italy has also gone nuts, requiring vaccination to live life. Well, one guys came up with a brilliant idea to get a legal vaccine card without actually getting the shot.

Guido Russo, 57, had refused to get the jab before showing up Thursday at a vaccine center in Biella, where he used a silicone prosthetic during his ill-fated ploy to trick a nurse with the “well-made” fake arm, the Corriere della Sera newspaper reported.

It worked for the first shot. But, apparently, the nurse during his second shot got a little touchy feely and found out that his arm was fake and his real arm was under his shirt.

This poor bastard is now being investigated for fraud. Russo is a dentist and requires something called a super green pass to live life in Italy. He said his life is now ruined.

According to the New York Post:

“Go away, you have ruined my life,” a peeved Russo told reporters from the behind the door of a villa in Pettinengo. “Go away, I’ll call the carabinieri.”

Russo had told the nurse last week who uncovered his bogus arm that he found himself in a bind.

“I don’t want to get the vaccine, but I need the green pass to work,” he told the nurse, Filippa Bua, la Repubblica reported Sunday.

His life is probably not ruined. Typical Italian exaggeration.

There was no mention of what penalties he could face but he says that his new found fame.

Isn’t There Something Else They Could Research

According to the New York Post:

Taking Viagra slashes Alzheimer’s risk by two-thirds, research suggests.

Scientists claim the love drug may help boost brain health and cut levels of toxic proteins that trigger dementia.

Experts analyzed data on 7.2 million US adults and found regular users had a 69 percent lower chance of being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s over the next six years.

Medics say the findings, published in the journal Nature Aging, suggest the little blue pill could soon be prescribed to tackle dementia.

At least when I get older and I get turned on I’ll remember why.

I remember, in the movie Idiocracy, researchers were doing research on making the perfect anti-ED pill instead of researching something one might think is more important like, I don’t know, cancer.

Here’s the Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease. My grandfather had it. But there are two things about this that annoy me. First, Viagra is not exactly a pill that can be taken by an Alzheimer patient, you know, because of the side effects. Not only the obvious side effect but also blood circulation issues that may be dangerous to older people and the reaction that it has with other drugs which older people are surely using. It also is dangerous for high blood pressure patients and patients with heart issues.

But that isn’t my biggest problem with this. You know who makes Viagra? Pfizer. You know what Pfizer also makes? The China virus vaccine. You  know what we know about the China virus vaccine? Not much.

We don’t know the long term effects. We don’t know how long it lasts or why it’s not effective. We don’t know the B-cell and T-cell effects. Maybe Pfizer should stop screwing around with an ED pill and figure that crap out.

In Massachusetts, an enterprising entrepreneur has opened a store called “Let’s Go Brandon.” The North Attleborough store “sells merchandise like hats, shirts, stickers and signs,” as WJAR reports.

The ubiquitous “Let’s Go Brandon” meme was triggered in early October, when an NBC sports reporter interviewing NASCAR driver Brandon Brown at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama after Brown scored his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series win stated in a video that the crowd was chanting “Let’s go, Brandon!” when in reality they were chanting “F*** Joe Biden.”

This store probably has a lease for only a short time because we have no idea how long Joe Biden is going to be President but this guy is going to make a ton of money in the meantime. What is also surprising is that this store is opened in Massachusetts which is a really blue state.

I’ll repeat what I said before. This is great. Joe Biden has become a national joke. People are beginning to push back against his idiocy. People are recognizing the damage he’s doing. The problem is that Joe Biden has the mental awareness of a palm tree. He’s not running things. We have only about a month to go before his damage can be limited because the campaign season for the 2022 midterms starts and the Dems are going to get their asses kicked and know it. We Need More Drugs!

City officials in San Francisco want to delay the imposition of a tax on lawful recreational cannabis businesses to help them compete with illegal marijuana dealers.

“Cannabis businesses create good jobs for San Franciscans and provide safe, regulated products to their customers,” Supervisor Rafael Mandelman said in a tweet. “Now is not the time to impose a new tax on small businesses that are just getting established and trying to compete with illicit operators.”

Last week the San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed an ordinance to suspend the Cannabis Business Tax for the 2021 and 2022 tax years.

The ordinance requires a signature from San Francisco Mayor London Breed before it takes effect. “Mayor Breed does intend to sign the ordinance once it passes the Board of Supervisors on a second reading tomorrow,” the mayor’s office told NPR.

Remember when they legalized pot in California they said the state would be making all this money? This is the same reasoning they are using to legalize meth, heroin and coke. Well here’s the problem: If pot is too expensive in the stores, people will sell it cheaper on the streets. This was a debating point against legalization. It wasn’t going to get rid of the drug dealers because their dope was going to be cheaper.

There is another problem the pot dispensaries are having and think this is a bigger problem San Francisco is having in general. Gangs of thieves are breaking into the dispensaries and stealing the pot. Dispensaries are having trouble making a profit and keeping stock because of all the theft and break ins.

But, again, this shows the Left never wants to deal with their real problems.

  • They don’t want to deal with crime that is partially motivated by drugs.
  •  They don’t want to deal with the drug addiction the plagues their streets. In fact, they created places to use drugs and do not arrest those using in public.
  • They don’t want to deal homeless problem that is caused by mental illness or drugs.

Instead, the city council is trying to make drugs easier to get. This is cynical but they want it for a reason. The want to keep a city of zombies. They want to keep the misery and hopelessness. They want to keep it so they keep their power. San Francisco, and Los Angeles too, are centers of polar opposites. You have the rich and powerful, one has to be in San Francisco to afford a place to live. Then you have the drones.

San Francisco is Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. You have the elite, who are described as the Alphas. You have the drones, which are the brainless Deltas. The government encourages the use of drugs, called Soma, the keep the population content and high. Any dissatisfaction is cured by using Soma.

I am not against pot. I don’t think it’s any worse than alcohol. That doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s not dangerous at all and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot. I also think it has some serious medicinal value. But there’s a reason the Left is pushing it. Control.

Why Do They Continue To Do This

This such a dumb story on so many levels.

According to the New York Post:

Columbia University will not discipline a professor who angered students by using the N-word while quoting a scene from the film “8 Mile,” according to the school’s newspaper.

The Columbia Spectator reported that tenured teacher Jonathan Rieder will not face punishment after students filed a Title IX complaint in the wake of the Oct. 28 class.

Rieder, who is white, used the term during a “Culture in America” lecture and claimed he thought it was permissible because he pronounced it with an “a” at the end of the slur, instead of an “er.”

“In retrospect, it’s fair to say that I didn’t need to quote the word,” he wrote in an email to students after the class, according to student news site Bwog. “I regret any pain or offense caused by my quoting, whether one student or the whole class felt pain or offense. You should know that in the remaining weeks of the course, no material will call for saying the word.”

Why anyone would send their kids to college makes me wonder some time.

First off, what kind of idiot is this professor? Does he not read the newspapers? Did he really think this was going to go well for him no matter how he pronounced the N-word?

He didn’t quote Shakespeare or Twain, he quoted Eminem. What the hell does Eminem have to say that should be quoted in a class at Columbia. And who in the hell approved this class and that it would be non-controversial? I will give the school credit for not canning the guy.

And, of course, the wall flower kids.

I remember when one could say anything in college because it’s a place of learning and sharing ideas! No matter how controversial. How are these kids going to survive when they have to get real jobs, screw up and then get yelled at. Why didn’t the school just throw these woke idiots out of class, or better, out of the school.

I pity our future.

Episode 387 – Wait, How Much for That?!

Surprise! Our kids are getting out of college and don’t know how to live real life.

Math is racist and needs to become woke.

And I wish that the morons in San Francisco would be more awake than woke.

 

Geen You Thnk?

SWNS Digital just released a a poll that says that 81% of graduating college students wish they had learned some life skills when they were in school. According to the survey, which covered about 2000 graduating students:

  • 30% moved make home.
  • 31% moved back to their home towns.
  • 32% put their student loans on hold as much as possible.
  • 70% are overwhelmed by their living expenses.
  • 28% don’t have enough credit to get a loan and 39% have bad credit.
  • 17% don’t know how to cook or do their own laundry.
  • 26% do not know basic apartment maintenance such as resetting a router or unclogging a toilet.

The good news is that the students do understand about things like credit scores and even know where to go for financial advice and 70% felt confident about their financial future.

I blame just about everything for this.

Parents need to let their kids grow up. Let them make mistakes. Our kids are way too coddled and protected. I deal with helicopter parenting on a daily basis. Parents should stop buying their children cellphones and make them go out and experience life. Children should have chores. I knew how to do laundry at 11 years old. I was cooking by 15 years old. My grandfather taught me how to, not only how to unclog a drain in a sink and a toilet, he taught me how to fix a toilet and even had me help him swap out a toilet.

Another thing parents need to do is have their teenage kids get jobs when it is legal to do so. This college kids are getting out of college with zero experience in anything. Having a job teaches a lot of things outside of the job they are doing:

  • Learn responsibility.
  • Time management.
  • The value of money including taxes.
  • The importance of attitude.
  • The importance of customer service.

I also blame the school system itself. When I was in school, the teacher was in charge. Well, today, the patients are running the asylum. Children have way too much control of the school itself. They have all these “rights”, which is crap. Children do not have rights. They are there to be prepared for the real world.

As we will talk about in a few minutes, political correctness and social issues have gotten in the way of education. Are kids know nothing of history, civics, math, reading and science. But they do do about fat shaming, racism and LGBTQ stuff.

Speaking Of That

There is an old video online. This video is a split screen. On the left side of the screen is a teacher teaching how to do multiplication in the new way that common core teaches. On the right side of the screen is a person doing the same multiplication problem on a piece of paper with a men.

The person on the right finishes the problem in 17 seconds (and I think she was taking his time). The teacher is on step two of the very complicated process. In the meantime, the gal is making coffee, she lets the dog out. The teacher finally gets to step three while the right side is pouring her freshly brewed coffee. At the end, we find out that the teacher got the same answer. But it took 3 minutes to do it.

This is the failure of common core.

But math and the other disciplines have become politicized.

Jefferson County Public School (JCPS) district in Louisville, Kentucky has decided that math is way to racist to the point of being violent and the teachers need to be taught how to make math less racist.

The College Fix reported:

The program’s goal is to “eliminate curricular violence and innovate mathematics education” through “anti-bias, anti-racist, and racially equitable practices.”

Educators will engage in monthly sessions with Lateefah Id-Deen, assistant professor of mathematics education at Kennesaw State University, which focus on topics like white supremacy in mathematics, racial trauma in mathematics, and creating anti-racist lesson plans.

Id-Deen teaches mathematics methods courses in the Kennesaw State University Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education, emphasizing racial equity and culturally relevant pedagogy. She is also a frequent speaker at educator conferences and for the local school district.

Some details of the program are:

  • The program will start in August and go through May of 2022.
  • Teachers will be taught once a week for four sessions that will last two hours about how to get rid of racism in math.
  • Teacher will get one-on-one coaching.

This isn’t all that they are trying to implement CRT, LGBTQ philosophy and disability teachings into history into history.

We talked about this before. Math is seen as racist because it is considered objective and that’s a bad thing to the Left. Like if you accept that a man cannot get pregnant, you are being objective and, therefore, a bigot. They believe that math doesn’t have to be objective and there can be right or wrong answers. That showing your work is racist.

They Could Get One at Lowe’s for $20

San Francisco is having a problem. No it’s not crime or drugs or homelessness. It’s not drugs needles on the streets or the cost-of-living being the highest in the country. It’s their aging public trash cans. So they decided to buy some trash can prototypes and lay them across the city. The bought 15 trash cans.

“OK, Gene, so what?” you may be asking me.

They played $300,000 for those 15 trash cans. In case you can’t do the math, and you won’t be able to you is you learned the common core math, is $20,000 a trash can.

Well, good news! The San Francisco Chronicle says that the cans will eventually go down in price to $2000-3000 per can. I may be way off but I think that might be kind of expensive for a trash can.

Public Works acting Director Alaric Degrafinried agreed during the meeting Wednesday that the prototype cost is “a lot.” He said the main reason it’s so expensive is because San Francisco worked with a designer on a custom-made prototype.

Maybe they should save some money and not get designer trash cans. I don’t know if you’ve been to San Francisco recently but it kind of looks like people aren’t using the toilets much like the trash can so I think they could probably get away with some cheaper trash cans.

Olympic Update

Here are some updates on the Olympics. I know you’re not watching them. the viewership is down by almost 40%, the lowest in 33 years. There are many reasons for this:

  • The time change.
  • Social media.
  • People just aren’t watching a lot of television.
  • The constant social justice messaging by the athletes and commentators really is a turn off.

The IOC and other outlets such as the WNBA have taken cues to try to get normal non-Leftist Americans to watch the Olympics. The IOC made a rule that states no one can protest while on the medal stands. The WNBA told its players there not to kneel anymore.

Of course, Lebron James’ company had a comment on that. Pretty sure this reflects Lebron’s thoughts:

“Rule 50 is a rule in the Olympic Charter that bans any kind of demonstration and prohibits any opinionated political, religious or racial propaganda at the Olympic site in 2021.”

“The only time an athlete is able to speak freely is at press conferences and to the media, but not on the Olympic podium when the world is watching. Simply put, we see this as a way of silencing voices, and as advocates for Athlete empowerment, we take a stand against it.”

Lebron James is too busy to be at the Olympics because he is promoting his new movie because he’s so suppressed.

Anyway, here are some of the stories in the actual sports:

  • The Men’s basketball team lost to France. That’s awesome.
  • The Women’s gymnastic team had some issues and started out very slowly. They still have a shot at the gold medal but they’re going to have to tighten up.
  • The United States did have a record setting day, scoring 10 medals including 4 gold. We still trail China by one medal.
  • The US won six medals on the first day of swimming.
  • We won our first medal ever in fencing. Lee Kiefer won a gold medal.

Episode 386 – Dude, They’re Fish

This new January 6th commission is beginning to look like a crock.

More bad news for the Biden administration and the economy.

And, I don’t care what anyone says, sharks suck.

 

Non-Partisan, Huh?

We have this bipartisan January 6th commission coming up started by Nancy Pelosi. Not sure why. There has already been a report released. Well I do know why. Because:

  • January 6th was determined to be a security lapse and Nancy Pelosi.
  • Donald Trump isn’t in the White House and people are beginning to realize he was actually good for the country.
  • Democrats need to demonize anyone who doesn’t agree with them as white supremacist.
  • Leftist policies are killing the country and they are going to get killed in the 2022 elections. This is a last gasp to save Nancy Pelosi’s speakership.

Apparently, this is not going to be as bipartisan as we thought. Well, I never thought this was going to be bipartisan. Pelosi decided to veto the two Republican picks for the committee: Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Jim Banks (R-IND). When asked why she wanted to get rid of those guys, she said:

“Monday evening, the Minority Leader recommended 5 Members to serve on the Select Committee. I have spoken with him this morning about the objections raised about Representatives Jim Banks and Jim Jordan and the impact their appointments may have on the integrity of the investigation. I also informed him that I was prepared to appoint Representatives Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong and Troy Nehls, and requested that he recommend two other Members.”

“With respect for the integrity of the investigation, with an insistence on the truth and with concern about statements made and actions taken by these Members, I must reject the recommendations of Representatives Banks and Jordan to the Select Committee.”

That’s not really an answer. What we are hearing from the media is that these two were complicit with the riot. They weren’t. It’s because this is not a bipartisan commission and these two would ask a lot of questions that would embarrass Democrats. Watch, none of the witnesses the Republicans want will be called. Sound familiar?

She had to do this:

  • She is directly to blame for the riot because she did not order extra security even though it was recommended. What about that report?
  • Only one person was killed and it was a Trump supporter (Aslii Babbitt). Who killed her?
  • Who planted the bombs at the RNC and DNC? Was it Antifa or BLM?
  • How many FBI agents were actually there? This might be a bit of a conspiracy theory but it can’t be ignore when combined with the Capitol police letting people into the building.
  • Nobody is getting charged with sedition or treason. Five hundred people are now in jail. Why have these people been in jail for the last 7 months for trespassing?

Bet you a dollar none of these questions are asked.

Nancy said that, now that the committee is bipartisan, by kicking off two Republicans, the committee can proceed.

Jim Banks released the following statement:

“It really made me angry. I served my country in Afghanistan and she is saying that I’m not up to playing a serious role on this Jan. 6 committee.”

“But it just goes to show all along this was never a serious effort on their part, it’s all a political witch hunt. They want to make this all about Donald Trump, dragging Republican members of Congress through the mud and attacking 75 million people that voted for Donald Trump.”

Kevin McCarthy, the House minority leader, said f-it. He pulled all the Republicans from the commission. There is only one Republican left on the commission and I say that with tongue in cheek. She’s, at best, a RINO and, at worst, a Democrat that hates Trump as much as the Left. She’s going to lose her next election in Wyoming anyway.

When asked about the Republicans being kicked off the committee, she said she agreed with what the Speaker did. Of course she did. She hates Trump and, since having her leadership position taken away, she has ceased being a Republican. The beauty of this is she’s going to probably lose all her committee assignments. Good.

419,000 claims for the week ending on July 17 — an increase in 51,000 from the previous week’s levels that again exceeds economists’ predictions.

I’m going to play conspiracy theorist.

  • I think a lot of people are getting jobs.
  • Most get a signing bonus when they get hired.
  • They realize that waking up early sucks and don’t like it.

Some Dumb Stories to Round It Out

They’re Coming for Them

The San Francisco Gay Men’s Choir released a video of them singing a song called “We’ll Convert Your Children”. Here it is:

Well, that’s disturbing. It’s also creepy. And it’s kind of catchy.

Of course, I wasn’t the only one that saw this as a rather aggressive move. Conservatives throughout social media and the news media really laid into this group. The San Francisco Gay Men’s Choir said the whole thing was just a parody. A parody for what? I’m not sure. They released the following statement when the controversy reached its peak:

“The far-right conservative media found our ‘Message…’ video and have taken it as their cause. This has all happened in the last 24 hours and it continues to pick up steam.” 

“They have taken the lyrics out of context to support a narrative that suits their intolerant and hateful needs. It is obvious the tongue-in-cheek humor is lost on many.”

“After decades of children being indoctrinated and taught intolerance for anyone who is ‘other,’ from using the Bible as a weapon to reparative therapy, it’s our turn. We have dedicated ourselves to being role models, teaching, and spreading the message of love, tolerance and celebration through our music.”

Just reading that statement makes one understand that this was not parody or tongue-in-cheek humor.

  • Again, what is this song a parody for? If I say, “Great idea! Let’s burn down a city,” that parody because anyone who knows me knows I’m being sarcastic.
  • In their statement, any critic of the song is “far right”.
  • They call all the critics “Intolerant and hateful”. Does that sound like they don’t have a chip on their shoulders?
  • It the last line, they say “it’s our turn” to indoctrinate children to a “message of love, tolerance and celebration through our music.” They actually say they are indoctrinating the kids.
  • Finally, the schools are actually indoctrinating children into the LGBTQ philosophy! Most of TikTok is about pronouns and sexual identity. Where do you think the kids are getting this stuff?

They are trying to indoctrinate our kids. They aren’t hiding the ball. They’re just saying it now.

If It Rips My Leg Off

According to the New York Post:

Marine experts and advocates in Australia are urging the public to refrain from using the word “attack” in reference to sharks, declaring that the majestic predatory fish has been unfairly stigmatized as a deliberate killer.

Instead of calling shark attacks, shark attacks, this group wants them called:

  • Interactions.
  • Negative encounters.
  • Incidents.
  • Or just bites.

Department of Primary Industries in New South Wales (NSW DPI) has decided to follow the guidelines stating:

“NSW DPI is respectful that each incident is best described by the individual involved. DPI generally refers to ‘incidents’ or ‘interactions’ in our formal shark reporting.”

Leonardo Guida, shark researcher at the Australian Marine Conservation Society said that these changes when referring to sharks is important because

“because it helps dispel inherent assumptions that sharks are ravenous, mindless man-eating monsters.”

OK, let me make myself clear and very unwoke here: Sharks are ravenous, mindless man-eating monsters. Why do I say that? They eat cans, license plates, boots, coats, golf balls, tires, video cameras and all sorts of strange things. That makes them pretty mindless and ravenous.

Sharks also eat people. That makes them man-eating.

I’ll stick with shark attacks, thank you very much.

Episode 384 – That’s Some Strong Cardboard

Sometimes our tech overlords do the right thing. And the right thing will always tick off the Left.

The China virus disaster needs to be made into a disaster again.

And here are some updates from the Olympics in Tokyo.

 

This is a Good Thing

Jeff Bezos blasted into space yesterday reaching about 65 miles above the earth. It was a beautiful launch. The occurred two weeks after Richard Branson of Virgin Atlantic launching into the upper atmosphere two weeks ago. Bezos launched in a ship called Blue Origin.

  • First off, the ship did look like a penis. It’s funny and everyone is pointing it out.
  • The trip cost about $5.5 billion.
  • Onboard was his brother Mark, 82-year-old aviation pioneer Wally Funk (the oldest person in space) and Oliver Daemen, an 18-year-old Dutch student who is the youngest ever to fly in space.
  • Funk, who is a woman, was actually trying to be an astronaut in the 1960s but couldn’t because she was a woman. This is awesome and I’m thrilled for her.
  • Climbing straight up atop 110,000 pounds of push, the rocket rapidly accelerated as it consumed its load of supercold liquid oxygen and hydrogen propellants, pushing the passengers back in their recliner-style seats with about three times the normal force of gravity.
  • At 45 miles up, the rocket separated from the capsule and landed safely to the ground, ready to be reused again. This is an awesome discovery.
  • At 66.5 miles in the air, the crew enjoyed three minutes of weightlessness.
  • The capsule then returned to earth, landing in the Texas desert. This is also a new discovery. Remember, they used to land in the ocean.

After the ten minute flight, Jeff Bezos clumsily said:

This would seem like this is a great thing. We now have three companies (SpaceX, Virgin Atlantic and Amazon) who are now competing for commercial dominance of space. We should all agree this is a good thing. But the Leftists don’t look at the fantastic achievements of these three countries. Nope. They decide to attack the individuals (Elon Musk, Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos) who made this all come true.

Bernie Sanders tweeted:

Yes, he should be impressed. This is amazing and an impressive thing.

Chief Elizabeth Warren tweeted:

“It’s time for Jeff Bezos to take care of business right here on Earth and pay his fair share in taxes.”

Here’s a hint: Bezos does pay his “fair share” of taxes.

AOC tweeted:

There’s so much wrong with this tweet, it’s hardly funny:

  • Amazon workers didn’t pay for this. That was a clumsy statement by Bezos.
  • The employees of Amazon work in a free market and receive what the market will bear. If they don’t like working at Amazon, they can quit and get another job.
  • Amazon customers did not pay for that. They pain Amazon for their rolls of toilet paper to be delivered.
  • Amazon took the profits from that toilet paper delivery and reinvested it into an Amazon space program which will expand and make the world better.

Bernie and AOC hate this accomplishment because:

  • It proves capitalism works.
    • Competition between private companies creates better technology.
    • This is technology that the government would never have come up with.
  • They want to take away the profits that enabled this advance in technology and do nothing with it. Don’t forget, AOC wants the federal government to invest in a high speed rail system. What are we, in the 1850s?
  • They push the big lie that Bezos, Musk and Branson don’t pay any taxes. That’s BS. The top 25% of earners pay 100% of the net taxes along with their companies. This is the Big Lie.
  • Finally, why are we listening to people who have never hired one person, never ran a business and have gotten rich off the tax payers dime? What the hell have these two ever done?
  • Jeez, AOC’s only other job was as a part time bartender. Bernie has been kicked out of a commune because he wouldn’t do any work. He was too lazy.

The media, of course, is also blasting the accomplishment.

Notice something with these articles?

  • It pushes class warfare by pushing greed and envy.
  • It also makes this look like a luxury instead of the great accomplishment with an awesome future in space flight that will be necessary.
    • Yes, space flight is for billionaires…now. But soon it will be for millionaires, then for the wealth and finally, for the regular Joe.
    • You know what else was only for the billionaires before? Regular flight, televisions, cars, cell and smart phones, computers, wine and travel. All are now available to regular people.
  • These articles bring out that there is poverty around the world. But there always has been poverty and there will always be poverty. Jeff Bezos not having a space program is not going to change that.
  • Definitely paying more taxes by these guys is not going to fix the problems of civilization. What has any politician actually done for society?

The space flights over the last couple of weeks and the upcoming flight by SpaceX are fantastic and should be celebrated:

  • Innovation. The private sector, because of competition, are always innovating to state ahead of the game.
  • The private sector is doing something that the government mistakenly quit doing in the 70s like going to the moon. The space shuttle program was a disaster and they just kind of given up.
  • Space exploration, innovation and, eventually, colonization is going to be necessary because of:
    • Defense.
    • Overpopulation.
    • Resources.
    • Protecting the Earth from space objects like meteors.
    • Ejecting dangerous terrestrial material such as nuclear waste and the batteries from those Prius cars that Lefties drive to save the environment.
    • Unlocking the mysteries of the universe.
  • This is costing the tax payer nothing. It is all being done by private business. The government pays for what they want done.
  • This proves that capitalism is awesome. Do you think China is going to be able to compete with us in space with their government run program?

This story reminds me why I am a Conservative. I am not greedy or envious. I love capitalism. I think our country is awesome and the best in human history and I see that what Amazon, SpaceX and Virgin Atlantic are doing proves that. The Left always has to see the badness in everything this country does. It’s tired and it’s getting old. It makes them look like a bunch of bitter, old, grouchy men.

This Guy is Full of Sh*+!

The problem with an emergency, of any kind, where the government can take more power is that it eventually ends to the dismay of the power hungry. The problem for us is the government will gin up some reason to keep the emergency going.

That’s what the government is trying to do with the China virus.

The United States is now seeing the Delta variant of the China virus. This variant originated from India and is more contagious than the previous three variants and people who are vaccinated can catch it. This has led the government to panic again:

  • Los Angeles is requiring masks no matter if one is vaccinated or now.
  • Schools in California are going to require all students to mask up in school even though there is no evidence the virus is passed from child to adult and less than 350 kids under the age of 18 have died of the virus since the pandemic started.
  • Colleges are going to require all students to be vaccinated even though those age groups tend not to die.
  • Children as young as three are going to be required to wear masks. Doesn’t matter that studies have shown that CO2 levels in children rise with masks on all day.

This is all BS. It is an attempt to keep our emergency going even though it is over:

  • In California, on Tuesday, there were 4723 new China virus cases. That’s way up. Only 4 people died. When the pandemic was in full swing, 2000 people a day would die.
  • The hospitals are not being overrun.
  • Research has shown that the vaccinated do not die of the Delta variant. They usually do not even show symptoms.
  • The federal government doesn’t seem too concerned since they are letting in illegal aliens with no vaccine or testing requirements and just letting them into the interior.
  • A substantial number are coming over the border infected. The number are debated so I won’t throw any out there.

In communist countries, like Cuba and the Soviet Union, the tyrants always claimed to be in a perpetual revolution. That always justified their tyranny and made the people hold their heads up in patriotic pride even though they are being repressed. That’s what is happening with the government and this perpetual pandemic. They need to continue having the pandemic and screaming about it because that justifies their crappy and repressive policies.

But what I’m really surprised about is that no one is asking or even curious that this virus was probably engineered in a Chinese lab and that the United States (the NIH) probably financed it. Who heads the NIH? Anthony Fauci, the trusted source by the Left of all that is China virus related.

Rand Paul, who is a real doctor (an optometrist) and thinks Tony Fauci is full of crap, got into an argument with Fauci about the gain of function work done by the Wuhan lab. Fauci decided to use language to deflect blame. The two ended up calling each other liars. Listen:

The argument is about gain of function. Gain of function is when a virus is manipulated so that it takes on other or more qualities. It is commonly used for the creation of vaccines. Paul is arguing that China used gain of function to make an animal virus transmissible to humans. Fauci is arguing that the molecules used for gain of function weren’t responsible for the pandemic. He’s basically changing the definition of gain of function. He’s also covering his ass incase of a perjury charge.

The only reason I care about this is because I want Tony Fauci to look like an ass because he’s a fraud. I want to know only three things:

  • Was this virus created in a Chinese lab?
  • Did we fund that or any other lab and why? China is an enemy.
  • And, if so, what are we, and the world community, going to do about it?

Nothing else matters and this is political theater.

 

Olympics

I’m not watching them but the Olympics are going in Tokyo. I may not be watching but that doesn’t mean fun stuff isn’t happening.

Good Idea

One thing that the IOC has always had problems with is the athletes constantly having sex with each other. They’ve had years where condoms, that are given to the athletes, became unavailable. Now I don’t blame the athletes. They’re in a foreign country, athletic and able, good looking and tense. I can see it.

Problem is, the IOC is worried about the China virus. They’re not worried about chlamydia, herpes, HIV or syphilis. They’re worried about a disease that is not going to kill any of them. But, whatever, I guess it’s a start. They decided to give the athletes cardboard beds that are designed to break when more than one person is on them. That’s clever. Might not work.

Apparently, there was an Irish gymnast who started jumping on the bed to prove it could handle his carnal delights. Rhys McClenaghan proved that the IOC failed:

So, there you go. IOC fails again. First, the let a man into the women’s weightlifting competition now they can’t create a bed the 130 pound Irish gymnasts can’t break.

But the last story was not the biggest from Tokyo this week.

The Women’s Soccer Team all kneeled before their game today. The they proceeded to lose to Sweden 3-0 in the most embarrassing loss they have ever suffered.

They’re Just Making This Stuff Up

For our TikTok adventure today, let’s listen to @zoestoller. I would assume, by the name, he’s a she. But we can never know. Maybe she’s a he. She, he or it is describing a new flag for a new gender that he, she, it decided to create. The new gender is called “ges-sarah” I think. Listen:

  • These guys just are making this crap up now.
  • They also don’t define anything. They have a tendency to just use multi-syballic words consecutively but the whole thing ends up being gender-fluid anyway which means any comprehensible definition could change at any moment.
  • This shows that our kids need direction and an accomplishment. Like a war. Something that will really focus them to something that is truly important.
  • These kids have just gotten spoiled, bored and lazy. Instead of having a job, this Zoe guy is just sitting around all day and making crap up.

Episode 371 – Frigging Black Holes!

Does anyone really give a damn about the upcoming summer Olympics in Tokyo?

And it might be time to cancel black holes.

 

The Olympics are Coming

The Olympics are coming to Japan. Are you excited?

Yeah, neither am I.

I have been losing interest in the Olympics since The US basketball team added professional players. I liked when it was only amateurs that competed in the Olympics. Most of the people competing had to win to get rich and most worked jobs outside of their training. Eddie the Eagle, who did the shi jump in the year I went to the Olympics is Calgary in 1988 was a brick layer. It was such a great story that he ended up rich even though he finished last in the competition. People were just thrilled that he didn’t fall during his jumps.

The Jamaican bobsled team was also a huge big deal. Those guys stories flew threw the Olympics. Everyone knew they didn’t have a chance but they were the most anticipated team. I remember them falling. Their story was ut into the fantastic moviw, Cool Runnings with John Candy.

But the Olympics also have those moments that I remember best. The US Hockey team beating the Soviet Union two weeks after losing 10-0. Mary Lou Retton winning the all-around gold medal in gymnastics.

Those days are long gone.

Now, Olympic athletes are already rich, professional athletes and whiney little bitches.

Now enter political correctness and the woke.

Maybe He Just Shouldn’t Be Allowed to Compete

Chelsea Wolfe,  trans female BMX bike rider, that means he’s a man competing in a female sport, said he had the goal of winning the Olympic gold medal just so he could burn and American flag on the podium.

He tweeted:

“My goal is to win the Olympics so I can burn a US flag on the podium. This is what they focus on during a pandemic. Hurting trans children.”

Attached was an article about how the Trump administration ordered doctors to treat trans people who had the China virus should be treated based on their biological sex. I know, this is weird. A doctor should treat a man like he has the biology of a man. But that’s not the point of this.

He deleted the tweet, knowing it would haunt him as the Olympics come closer but, like I tell my kids, everything on the Internet is forever.

When asked about it, Wolfe stated to Fox News:

“Anyone who thinks that I don’t care about the United States is sorely mistaken. One of the reasons why I work so hard to represent the United States in international competition is to show the world that this country has morals and values, that it’s not all of the bad things that we’re known for. I take a stand against fascism because I care about this country and I’m not going to let it fall into the hands of fascists after so many people have fought and sacrificed to prevent fascism from taking hold abroad. As a citizen who wants to be proud of my home country, I’m sure as hell not going to let it take hold here.”

He said he was going to burn an American flag on the podium while the National Anthem is playing. I don’t think he should represent our country.

This isn’t the first time he has said anything controversial. Last year, Wolfe said on Facebook:

“I would never say that someone should explode the head of the president. That would be illegal. But I will say ‘with dynamite.’ Because that’s just a sentence fragment and doesn’t actually mean anything. It’s not necessarily related to the sentence that came before it.”

So, not only this guy who is trying to convince everyone he’s a a woman, he also hates the country and wants to kill Donald Trump. Glad to see this guy is representing the United States.

The United States Olympic Committee needs to pull this guy from the team.

Wonder Who’s Going to Win This Event.

Chelsea Wolfe is not the only trans woman competing.

Laurel Hubbard of New Zealand will be going to the Olympics and competing as a woman in the super heavyweight division.

  • Hubbard is 43 years old and competed with the with the men 8 years ago when he decided to transition to a woman.
  • Hubbard notably took silver in the 2017 world championships, sparking outrage from proponents of women’s sports and fellow athletes.

Responding to the controversy about how it was unfair that he be allowed to compete against women when he was a man for the first 35 years of his life, Hubbard said:

“As an athlete, all I can really do is block that out. If I try and take that weight on board, it just makes the lifts harder. All I can really do is just focus and lift.

“The science is evolving, and the position of the IOC is evolving too. What most people probably don’t realize is that I actually satisfy the requirements of the 2003 Stockholm consensus, which were the original rules that the IOC agreed upon to allow participation of people like myself. So I am not competing under a recent rule change. I am competing under rules which have been in place now for 14 years.”

Hubbard is allowed to compete because he is able to keep his testosterone to under 10 nanomole. Of course, that has been done just recently, when he was 35. I’m not sure how this affects his muscle mass or bone density. It doesn’t look like it has change his height and weight. And that’s what the competition is complaining about.

Belgian weightlifter, Anna Vanbellinghen, is not at all happy about it. She said:

“First off, I would like to stress that I fully support the transgender community, and that what I’m about to say doesn’t come from a place of rejection of this athlete’s identity. I am aware that defining a legal frame for transgender participation in sports is very difficult since there is an infinite variety of situations, and that reaching an entirely satisfactory solution, from either side of the debate, is probably impossible.

“However, anyone that has trained weightlifting at a high level knows this to be true in their bones: this particular situation is unfair to the sport and to the athletes.”

She has to show that she’s not a bigot and smoothly goes into that weird thing the Left doesn’t like…science.

She continued:

“So why is it still a question whether two decades, from puberty to the age of 35, with the hormonal system of a man also would give an advantage?

“I understand that for sports authorities nothing is as simple as following your common sense, and that there are a lot of impracticalities when studying such a rare phenomenon, but for athletes the whole thing feels like a bad joke.

“Life-changing opportunities are missed for some athletes — medals and Olympic qualifications — and we are powerless.”

Here, you can say she is getting a little more angry as she talks about it. Everything she is saying is true. What I would love to have heard from her that this is is sexist against biological women because it is. But trans bigotry (which this is not) is higher on the woke charts than sexism so Anna will not get any love from the Left. I know that women who have bitched about having to compete against men have been called bigots.

In the end, the best woman in sports ends up being a man.

I hope Laurel Hubbard wins the gold medal and break every female world record. That might make these woke idiots re-evaluate their stance on crap like this.

Black Holes…Cancelled

People just need to cancel everything. Including the universe.

In an article in the City Journal titled Down a Black Hole by Heather Mac Donald. I bet you already know where this article is going. Let’s just get to it.

Physicists at MIT and SUNY Stony Brook recently announced findings that the total surface area of two black holes was maintained after the two entities merged. While this research was a welcome confirmation of both Stephen Hawking’s work and the theory of general relativity, it failed to address a crucial matter: what were its racial implications?

Question: When did it become the job of an astrophysicist to analyze the racial implication of a black hole?

That is a lacuna that an astronomy course at Cornell University aims to prevent. “Black Holes: Race and the Cosmos” asks the question, “Is there a connection between the cosmos and the idea of racial blackness?” Anyone familiar with academia’s racial monomania knows the answer: of course there is! Though “conventional wisdom,” according to the catalog description of “Black Holes: Race and the Cosmos,” holds that the “‘black’ in black holes has nothing to do with race,” astronomy professor Nicholas Battaglia and comparative literature professor Parisa Vaziri know better.

Battaglia and Vaziri puncture the “conventional wisdom” by drawing on theorists such as Emory University English professor Michelle Wright. Wright’s book, The Physics of Blackness: Beyond the Middle Passage Epistemology, invokes “Newton’s laws of motion and gravity” and “theoretical particle physics” to “subvert racist assumptions about Blackness.” The Cornell course also studies music by Sun Ra and Outkast to “conjure blackness through cosmological themes.”

Remember last week, I made every aspect of my day racist? Here we are again. One can make anything racist.

Sokal’s article drew on efforts among comparative literature and American studies professors to deploy scientific concepts toward a postmodern end: showing science to be a mere power play designed to silence “dissident or marginalized communities,” in Sokal’s words. “Transgressing the Boundaries: Towards a Transformative Hermeneutics of Quantum Gravity” cited such postmodern giants as Andrew Ross and Luce Irigaray on topics like “oppositional discourses in post-quantum science” and “gender encoding in fluid mechanics.” The paper itself proposed a new theory of quantum gravity that could serve as the basis for a “postmodern and liberatory science.”

Sokal’s paper was a hoax. Like the high-theory sources it cited, it mauled the underlying science while obscuring its scientific illiteracy with vast clouds of theorese. Yet it was accepted for publication, apparently without raising a scintilla of doubt among Social Text’s editors.

I remember this paper. Alan Sokal and a couple of other professors wanted to see if the could publish crazy papers that were politically correct just to see if it would be published. Guess what? It was.

He made the higher education soft sciences look foolish.

Episode 367 – My Racist Day

So I did a little experiment with Josie. It required some research but I did learn something.

It is really easy to be a racist.

 

Happy Juneteenth

President Biden signed a bill that will make June 19th, better known (well, hardly known) as Juneteenth.

Biden said during the ceremony:

“I have to say to you, I’ve only been President for several months, but I think this will go down, for me, as one of the greatest honors I will have as President.

“I regret that my grandchildren aren’t here, because this is a really, really, really important moment in our history. By making Juneteenth a federal holiday, all Americans can feel the power of this day and learn from our history — and celebrate progress and grapple with the distance we’ve come (and) the distance we have to travel.”

He also said that this should be a day of reflection. He said:

“We can’t rest until the promise of equality is fulfilled for every one of us in every corner of this nation. That to me is the meaning of Juneteenth. So let’s make this very Juneteenth tomorrow the first that our nation will celebrate all together, as one nation. A Juneteenth of action on many fronts.” 

In June 19, 1865, was the day that Union Army Maj. Gen. Gordon Granger rode into Galveston, Texas, and told slaves of their emancipation ordered by Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863.

  • I think this is a good thing and long time coming.
  • I would rather they had celebrated the actual Emancipation Proclamation release date instead of Juneteenth but:
    • January 1 is already a national holiday.
    • June 19th is very obscure.
    • Abraham Lincoln is now being called a racist.
  • What’s odd is CNN and other reporters are saying that Republicans approved this while rejecting Critical Race Theory.
    • Juneteenth is a celebration of Americas ability to move past its own sins because they were evil and not in tune to our Constitution and philosophy.
    • CRT is a refusal to believe the United States and all white people have moved forward. All our systems, our history and white people have never moved past those evils and we are still evil and need to indoctrinate our kids in that philosophy.

My Racist Day

Ibram X. Kendi, the grandson of Critical Theory and the father of Critical Race Theory was asked to define racism. This is what he said:

“I would define it as a collection of racist policies that lead to racial inequity that are substantiated by racist ideas.”

I am not as smart as Ibram is but I speak English. I don’t know what that means. I was taught that if you are asked to define something, do not use the same word in the definition. For example:

“A pencil is made up of the materials that make up a pencil.”

I’m not a PhD in anything so it might be that I’m not smart enough to understand what he is talking about. I know this is true because I read his book and couldn’t understand anything he was saying. I decided to assume I am just mentally deficient to be able to understand the philosophy of such a great mind. The only other conclusion I could come up with is that he’s a complete f-ing idiot and that would be racist because of my white privilege.

After reading how birds and conversation is racist yesterday, I decided to analyze my day and see if I am a racist. I realized I am a racist and I feel bad for it. So let’s go through my day and discuDTss how each activity just proves how I am a racist.

1. I woke up early this morning because I had things to do. That’s racist because my life has goals I need to meet on a daily basis and progression in life is racist. Not kidding. Anti-racists are teaching that.
2. My bedroom is also the master bedroom. That’s racist because the bedroom is the “master”.
3. I pee in an American Standard toilet. This is racist because America is a systemically racist country and it is unequitable since other countries whose populations are of people of color do not have running water.
4. I drank two glasses of water. That racist because people of color can’t swim apparently and water is racist.
5. I put on jeans and a long sleeve shirt. My ensemble is racist because in is made of cotton and cotton is a symbol of slavery.
6. My T-shirt has an American flag which is racist because the flag represents oppression of people of color and systemic racism.
7. I went on a three-mile walk. That’s racist because white people walk differently than people of color making sidewalks a symbol of white supremacy.
8. I didn’t wear a mask which is racist because people of color are more susceptible to the China virus and I just don’t care.
9. Calling COVID-19 the China virus is racist against Chinese people.
10. I carried my walking stick that I always carry. That’s racist because my stick is made of oak and oak is a tree and trees symbolize lynching of black people, making trees racist.
11. I listen to Matt Walsh which is racist because he is a symbol of white supremacist hate.
12. When I go outside, I take deep breaths of the morning air. The air is racist because it is polluted, and pollution affects people of color far worse than white people.
13. When finishing my walk, I make a cup of coffee. Coffee is racist because it is cultivated and collected by oppressed and enslaved people in Latin American countries.
14. I watch the Ben Shapiro Show which is racist because Ben Shapiro is a symbol of white supremacist hate.
15. I write my blog post. That’s racist because it’s written in English which is the language of colonialism which destroyed the indigenous people.
16. I watch Louder with Crowder which is racist because Steven Crowder and his minions are symbols of white supremacist hate.
17. I record my podcast spewing my Conservative, racist, white supremacist hate.
18. I was hungry so I ate a 7-11 burrito made of jalapeño and beef. Extra spicy. That’s racist because its cultural appropriation of Latinx culture.
19. I drink water to cool my mouth after eating the extra spicy burrito. That racist because people of color can’t swim apparently and water is racist.
20. Josie came over for her lunch. I made her a grilled salami and cheese sandwich. That’s racist because she is Latinx and I expected her to be over because of my white privilege.
21. Josie peed in my American Standard toilet. This is racist because America is a symbol of systemic racism and it is unequitable since other countries whose populations are of people of color do not have running water.
22. It is also racist because I assumed Josie would be OK with peeing in a symbol of systemic racism and it is unequitable since other countries whose populations are of people of color do not have running water.
23. Josie kissed me goodbye. That is racist because I expected her to satisfy my desire with a kiss because of my white privilege. I think that’s also probably sexist.
24. I like to read and read a chapter from three different books. Reading is racist because it is attained through the education system and all systems are systemically racist.
26. I take a nap. This is racist because I have the white privilege to take a nap and I do it in my “master” bedroom…which is also racist.
27. I wake up and watch The Five on Fox News. This is racist because Fox News is a symbol of white supremacist hate.
28. The hockey playoff game starts, Tampa Bay versus the New York Islanders. This is racist because no one kneels in protest during the National Anthem.
29. I cheer as Tampa Bay wins 4-1. This is racist because the inequitable outcome of the game is representative of the inequitable outcomes between whites and people of color.
30. I make chicken and corn for dinner. Chicken is racist because chicken poop and fart creating carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide pollutes the air. Air pollution affects people of color disproportionately from white people.
31. Corn is racist because it is the food of indigenous people and eating it cultural appropriation.
32. I grilled the chicken and corn. That is racist because it adds carbon monoxide to the air. Air pollution affects people of color disproportionately from white people.
33. I have a couple of Budweisers to drink. That’s racist because Bud is an American beer (sort of) and America symbolizes the oppression of people of color and systemic racism.
34. The owner of the house gave me a Corona and we watched the basketball game. Corona is a Mexican beer so I was appropriating Mexican culture.
35. I decide to watch the movie Shaun of the Dead. This is racist because this British film does not have enough people of color.
36. Watching a British film is racist because of the colonialism of the British to America, exploiting the indigenous people.
37. I’m watching the movie outside and turn on my outside lights. That is racist because I bought the lights at Walmart. Walmart is racist because…well…it’s Walmart.
38. After I go to bed, I go inside and lock the door. This is racist because my implicit bias assumes a person of color will break into my place and rob me.
39. I go to bed. This is racist because I sleep in the “master” bedroom.
40. I fall asleep. This is racist because my white privilege allows me to relax enough to fall asleep.

How many of you actually find it insane that everything I do can be construed to racism? It didn’t even take me a long time to come up with this. I just had to remember my day and remember the past articles I have read. A simple Google search will validate everything I came up with has been thought of before.

It is so easy to demonize people.

Episode 352 – Their Mistakes Will Kill You

The new mayor of St. Louis wants to continue to allow her citizens to be murdered.

For Democrats, if at first you don’t succeed, try again.

And, nope, that is the behavior of a straight man.

 

They’ll Never Learn and You’ll Get Killed Because Of It

St. Louis, Missouri has the worst murder rate in the country.

  • It is averaging, this year, 87 murder per 100,000 people.
  • To show you the contrast, the second worst murder rate is Baltimore, Maryland with 57 murders per 100,000.
  • St. Louis’ murder rate is the highest rate is 50 years.
  • St. Louis is ranked 13th in murder throughout the world according to Statista. It has more murders than:
    • Cape Town, South Africa
    • San Salvador, El Salvador
    • Ciudad Juarez, Mexico

So what is the best way to lower crime? How about cut the budget for the police department and closing down jails. hat’s how St. Louis mayor, Tishaura Jones is going to handle it. Of course, she’s the first black female mayor in St. Louis history so she doesn’t need to do a good job. To the Left, she’s already doing a great job.

She was elected mayor last month and she ran on the progressive criminal justice reform.

Interim City of St. Louis Director of Public Safety Daniel Isom explained the mayor’s plan this way:

“Funding a comprehensive approach to violent crime is the best approach to reducing murders. This requires both police and partnering agencies adequately funded to support victims and hold offenders accountable. It also requires target arrest and prosecutions to get murderers and shooters off the streets and not filling jails with nonviolent offenders.”

So, spend money on non-police projects, don’t throw criminals in jail and no proactive policing. Yeah, that’s going to work. We’ve seen ideas like this work before like…never.

Remember what Rudy Giuliani did when he was mayor of New York? He increased the police force, threw criminals in jail and encouraged proactive policing by implementing stop-and-frisk. Crime in New York was at its lowest levels in history. The Left hated it because they thought it violated civil rights and was against the Fourth Amendment. They fought tooth-and-nail to get rid of it even though the streets of New York were safe and clean. Mike Bloomberg liked what he saw and kept stop-an-frisk. It was the idiot Bill de Blasio who ended stop-and-frisk and look at how New York City is now. A disaster.

Well, Tishaura Jones is following in the footsteps of Bill de Blasio. Good luck with that.

What, Again?

Things are so bad for the Democrats that they feel the need to bring up Trump and the January 6th riots at the capital.

Last week, the House passed a bill that would create a 9/11 style commission to investigate the January 6th Capitol riots.

  • The vote was 252-175.
  • There were 35 Republicans who supported the commission.
  • Chances are this is not going to get through the Senate because it requires 60 votes and the Senate is 50-50.

I think this whole thing is garbage and a misdirection. Joe Biden supports the commission and that shouldn’t be a surprise. He has some major issues in his first four months and bringing out the past to demonize Trump and his supporters. Biden’s problem is that he is getting to the point that he can’t blame all his problems on Trump. And I don’t think this is going to go well for him if this commission does convene.

  • Questions are going to be asked about the riots last summer.
  • Questions about the anti-Semitic violence that is happening now.
  • The equality of justice is going to be brought up. Almost 300 people have been arrested for the Capitol riots but no one seems to be arrested during the $3 billion riots last summer.
  • It will be pointed out that the VP ran a fund raiser to free rioters from last year.
  • It will be pointed out the mistakes that Capitol Police made:
    • Allowing people into the Capitol building.
    • Taking pictures with the “rioters”.
  • The failure of Nancy Pelosi to add security even though she was told too.
  • The failure of Washington DC mayor, Muriel Bowser, to add extra police or even Nation Guard even though she was warned.
  • Expose some of the things that have been hidden by the politicians and the media:
    • Only one person was killed, Ashlii Babbitt. Who killed her? Why wasn’t that investigation brought to the public?
    • The videos and pictures of Capitol Police interacting with rioters in a casual way.
    • The lies by people like AOC about where they were during the riot.
  • It will turn off Independents and classical liberals and moderate Democrats.

Why do it?

  • This is another attempt at impeaching Trump.
  • It also is going to be used to demonize anyone who voted for Trump by calling them white supremacists.
  • Darken the Republicans before the 2022 midterm elections which is looking to be a disaster for Democrats.
  • Deflect from the disaster that has been caused throughout the country by Leftist policies such as:
    • The employment problem.
    • The border crisis.
    • The crime problem.
    • The fuel problem.
    • Inflation.
    • The Middle East disaster.

This will just be another show-commission. It’s a waste of time. People are just not going to care about it.

No, That’s Not a Thing

According to an article on metro.co.UK in an article called, Straight men in ‘bromances’ kiss, cuddle and stand around naked together by Chris Caulfield, “straight” men like to do homosexual things with their “straight” male friends.

According to research published in Sex Roles: A Journal of Research, there is a strong desire to cuddle and hug between bromantic friends, while kissing is just another way of showing affection.

One of the students involved told the authors you can ‘lie in bed with your bromance, have a cuddle and just talk’, while another said he understood it as having ‘a cuddle buddy’. A third thought cuddling, hugging and sex jokes were a ‘core part’ of a bromantic friendship.

A bromance has been defined as ‘an emotionally intense bond between straight men’.

‘Some agreed that this was the case when asked, whereas others offered it unsolicited as part of their definition of a bromance.’

In all 29 of the 30 men who took part said they had cuddled their bromantic partner. This latest work also backs a 2012 study that found 89% of 145 surveyed undergraduate heterosexual men had kissed on the lips. One participant said: ‘Guys nowadays, in my generation, there is so much kissing between guys because it’s showing affection.’ Another added: ‘I hug him and kiss (my bromance) and tell him I love him.’

Participants also talked about how comfortable they were to be naked around their bromances.

One participant said: ‘I live in a house with three other guys, and there are massive bromances going on between us.

‘We walk around naked. I got no problems standing naked in a room with my housemates. We feel comfortable being naked around each other.’ The study was conducted across a three-month period, between August 2014 and November 2014, and involved semi-structured interviews into the friendship experiences of 30 undergraduate men who identified as heterosexual or mostly heterosexual. They were enrolled in one of four undergraduate sport-degree programs at a single UK university.

Couple of things:

  • If you are a man and walking around, naked, with other men and are comfortable with it, you’re gay or bisexual.
  • If you are a man and are snuggling with another man, you are gay or bisexual.
  • If you are a man and are kissing another man, you are gay or bisexual.
  • The “men identified and heterosexual or mostly heterosexual” thing is also funny. If you are “mostly” heterosexual, you are probably gay or bisexual.

Why do I bring this up? Because it is the type of changing of the language and perception that drives me nuts. This article basically points out that there is something wrong with me because I do not want to kiss another man. It’s like the article that said men who would not have sex with a trans woman was gay. This story pushes the belief that you are weird if you don’t buy the gay talking points.

Well, I don’t buy it. I’m not going to buy it. And I’m not weird because the only person I’m interested in kissing is my female fiancé.

Boy, That Was Fast

The crappy jobs report last week has really put a strangle on the economy. Inflation, which most of us thought wouldn’t hit for a couple year due to the debt, has reared its ugly head already due to no one working, free money and a demand for goods.

According to CNBC:

“Inflation accelerated at its fastest pace in more than 12 years for April as the U.S. economic recovery kicked into gear and energy prices jumped higher. The Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods as well as energy and housing costs, rose 4.2% from a year ago, compared to the Dow Jones estimate for a 3.6% increase. The monthly gain was 0.8%, against the expected 0.2%.”

Oops.

The Stock Market is flipping out. The Wall Street Journal stated:

“Rising commodity markets, supply-chain blockages and hiring difficulties have prompted some investors to expect a prolonged upswing in consumer prices. That could lead the Federal Reserve to raise its target for short-term interest rates sooner than it has signaled, potentially weighing on stocks and other assets that have benefited from over a year of near-zero borrowing costs.”

I guess it might be time to start buying gold and silver.

The economic situation we are in is the worst since the 2008 recession. But we can go way further back. There are a lot of consistencies with what happened in the 70s under Jimmy Carter, arguably the worst President in United States history.

Under Jimmy Carter we had:

  • High inflation.
  • Joblessness.
  • Major division.
  • A fuel shortage.
  • Major foreign policy issues (Iran).

Joe Biden is creating a disaster within this country. You want to know the good news? Jimmy Carter only lasted one term and his incompetence led to the right wing radical by the name of Ronald Reagan.

Good Bye and Good Riddance

Liz Cheney, who has just been an absolute splinter for the Republican party has finally been stripped of her leadership role in Congress.

You might be asking yourself why I haven’t really talked about this before. Simply, it’s because I don’t care. I think this has been a story that has been horribly overinflated by the news media and this happens all the time within both parties. The reason this story is big is because it’s within the Republican party and the Leftist media wants to make it out that there is disintegration of the Republican party.

Listen, there is no disintegration of the Republican party. Liz Cheney is a Conservative. She had an 80% approval from Conservative groups and voted with Republicans 96% of the time. She just didn’t like Trump and was vocal about it. This could be seen in her press conference today. Listen:

  • She didn’t just dislike Donald Trump, she hated him.
  • She went on all Left wing news outlets, like MSNBC and CNN, and did nothing but bitch about Trump.
  • She would be in press conferences with other House leadership and just start bitching about Trump. Out of nowhere.

She just couldn’t get over it and she still can’t. All she had to do was be quiet. She’s from the very Conservative state of Wyoming and is probably going to lose the next election.

I just don’t think this is a big deal. I don’t care. republicans have every right to choose the leadership. She’s going to be gone soon anyway. It’s media hype again. Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney are really the only conflicts within the Republican party. Democrats have far more issues that are also very public. These just have not been chosen to be news stories.

We Can’t Even Walk Right?

OK, this is the most crazy story of the day. It is a slow news day. It also shows just how our college professors have nothing better to do than opine about crap.

A Northwestern University professor actually said that the way white people walk is proof of internalized racism. I’m not frigging kidding. We can’t even walk right. This thing was actually seen as relevant enough to put in the university newspaper.

It is titled: Are the sidewalks at Northwestern too White, too? by opinion editor Kenny Allen.

When I first got to Northwestern, I wondered why walking around on campus could be so frustrating. Even when sidewalks were relatively empty, I would often have to walk way around people to pass without bumping into them. At first, I chalked it up to the geographic diversity of the school; maybe the people that came to this school were used to different ways of moving through a public place. But after talking to my Black friends about my experience, they echoed it: people at this predominantly White school would not move out of our way on the sidewalk.

I think Kenny is not used to being in a big city. This crap happens all the time and race is not an issue. Everyone is in their own little world in crowded big cities.

This was one of many reminders that diversity does not mean inclusion at NU. Even though the University has worked to increase the number of Black students here, that doesn’t mean we’re welcomed with open arms. Bedelia Nicola Richards, a sociology professor at the University of Richmond (sociology is not a science) laid out a set of five questions to determine whether one’s university is racist: 

  1. Which group or groups feel most at home on the campus and which ones feel like (unwanted) guests? (notice everything is about feelings and perceptions? Feelings and perceptions are not reality and truth).
  2. Whose norms, values and perspectives does the institution consider to be normal or legitimate? Whose does it silence, marginalize or delegitimize? (Norms, values and perceptions are subjective. There has to be an assumption that everyone knows about one’s norms, values and perceptions).
  3. Who inhabits positions of power within the institution? (This is subjective and perception-based. There’s no objective measure).
  4. Whose experiences, norms, values and perspectives influence an institution’s laws, policies and systems of evaluation? (Do I really need to say anything here I haven’t said before?)
  5. Whose interests does the institution protect? (If you’re in the institution, wouldn’t you think the institution would protect you? More feelings and perception.)

At this school, the answer to most of those questions is White people. Any honest accounting of the decision-making structures at this school would tell you so. And this power dynamic is always present in the way Black students interact with this institution.

Where does he come up with that? Because he feels that way? What if I were to tell him that I think its black people because of the way of the word today? Based off of the question asked, it could easily be?

Almost everybody in the United States gets some sort of education about Jim Crow segregation. Black people had to attend different schools, weren’t allowed to vote and didn’t have any legal protection from discrimination. These laws helped to create an image of Black inferiority after the abolition of slavery. And that sentiment trickled down to the way people interact on an interpersonal level. 

The formal rules of Jim Crow were accompanied by a set of informal ones that governed the way Black people approached White people in public space and vice versa. That social order required Black people to yield to White people whenever possible. Both sets of rules told White people that they were superior and Black people that they were inferior — and that this pattern of subjugation was the natural way for things to be. Black people were made to show deference to White people any time they interacted. One of the ways they were made to do so was by stepping off the sidewalk when a White person was walking past.

The informal rules are passed down through generations just like any other kind of etiquette. White people came to expect the right of way in public spaces. White people who were accustomed to moving through the world like that — intentionally or not — taught their kids to move through the world in the same way. And the racism that undergirded Jim Crow wasn’t eliminated just because the laws were no longer overtly racist.

Jim Crow was systemic racism. No question and I would not be surprised that black people would have to step off a sidewalk if a white person walked by. But that’s over. People don’t do that anymore and haven’t for a long time. I have never see a person of color clear the way on a sidewalk because I was walking by. Have you?

This kind of thing makes this entire argument invalid. Thank God there is only one more paragraph.

Many White people walk around campus having unknowingly absorbed this particular facet of White supremacy, and the leaders of the institution do little to make us believe that White supremacy is something worth challenging in the first place. This is not to say that giving people space in public is a way to be anti-racist; the sidewalk question is just one way in which Black people are made to feel unwelcome. This is to say that essentially every aspect of our society, including the way we physically move through space, has been shaped by a racist legacy. Uprooting that White supremacy requires both recognizing its scale and disrupting it however it shows up. 

What a stupid article.

  • He offers no evidence of anything nor any examples.
  • He brings up something that happened sixty years ago and says things are still like that.
  • This is an example of one who so self-aggrandizes, is so self-centered, that he believes its racist that people do not acknowledge him while walking around.
  • The fact that this article was allowed to be published and should be taken seriously tells me that blacks actually do have the power. That’s what I think. This article is proof.
  • Finally, it also shows that anything can be seen as racist. No matter what I do, something I do will prove I’m a racist. I can’t win.
